Regardless though, putting in the exceptions suggested in both Defender and MWB Premium so that they didn't try to scan each other was a trivial process very easy to do. I put those exceptions in as suggested because the member was also an expert advisor at Malwarebytes forums but I stress that (for me anyway) they played together with no problems without them. Yes, I use default settings and had done for years until another member of BC suggested I put in some exceptions in both Defender and Malwarebytes Premium "just in case". When you run Windows Security do you use the default settings? I run Windows Security alone and run ConfigureDefender set to High.
